" If you want to save time and points ( and improve
accuracy)while speed shooting, you'd better use a Sprinco recoil reducer
in your gun! " Eric Grauffel 3 Time IPSC World Champion Open
Class Winner World Shoots XII, XIII, XIV
Extend the life of your weapon by installing a Sprinco Recoil Management
Guide Rod System. A secondary, or sub-spring assembly is incorporated onto a
full length, heat treated, stainless steel guide rod to cushion the slide to
frame impact!
Sprinco USA Recoil Reducers make a significant difference by the management
of peak recoil forces within the handgun, which can exceed 1500 ft lbs. at
impact! By decelerating the rearward slide velocity with the secondary spring
just prior to impact, the Sprinco System reduces these forces by 500 - 750 ft
lbs. The graduated sub-spring is engineered and critically positioned in each
model to ensure normal cycling and reliability. This is an effective no frills,
no gimmick approach to recoil management.
Installation is as easy as installing your stock guide rod system. No firearm
modification is necessary to enjoy significant reductions in muzzle flip and
perceived (felt) recoil. The system improves your shooting with faster follow up
shots, faster sight recovery and improves control of your rapid fire shot
strings. While you may not be bothered by the recoil of your gun, expert as well
as novice shooters benefit from faster target acquisition and lowered split
times.
Some of the benefits of installing a Sprinco Recoil Management System in your
firearm include:
MANUFACTURERS LIFETIME WARRANTY AGAINST BREAKAGE Reduces
Muzzle Climb Protects Your Firearm Faster Sight Recovery CMP & IPSC
Legal Reduce Felt (Perceived) Recoil Heat Treated 17-4 Stainless
Steel No Modification to Firearm Required
The COR-BON model utilizes a stronger subspring in order to compensate for
hot, +P and +P+ loads. A shooter should only use a COR-BON recoil reducer if
he/she intends to exclusively shoot +P or +P+ ammo. The .40 Super, .45 Super,
.400 COR-BON, and full house 10mm loads would also fit into this category. While
the standard model Recoil Reducer will function flawlessly using hot ammo, this
does not reciprocate. Tame factory loads will not always cycle the COR-BON model
Recoil Reducer, and you may have function problems. Keep in mind that the
standard system will noticeably reduce recoil and muzzle flip when using hot
ammo, but not as effectively as the COR-BON model would. In summary, if you are
going to be shooting a wide range of power factor loads, order the standard
system. If you are shooting hand cannon loads EXCLUSIVELY, go with the COR-BON
system.

WHY REPLACE MY STOCK GUIDE
ROD? |
| Stainless Steel Rod |
Will not break or flex. A tighter spring fit to the
rod lengthens spring life. |
| Tungsten Rod |
All the above positives, and adds extra weight
to the front of the gun which reduces muzzle flip and aids in quicker
follow up shots. |
| Captive |
Comes with bushing and screw that makes the rod
and spring a one piece fixture like the current stock guide rod
assembly |
| Non Captive |
There is no capturing device with this system
which makes it very easy to change spring weights and replace
springs. |

Please
don't forget to order your springs with the rod. These rod's are designed to be used with Glock stock springs or ISMI
springs.

The ISMI Rods & Springs
|
RECOIL SPRINGS The ISMI
Difference |
|
ISMI premium springs are manufactured
exclusively with certified aerospace specification alloys; stainless or chrome
silicon. Then our springs are heat treated, shot peened and stress relieved
after winding to enhance performance and durability. Our springs utilize the
same design and manufacturing technology as used in Indy Car and Formula One
racing. In a typical 500 mile race, a valve spring in an Indy Car will go
through more than 2,500,000 compression cycles. Consideration of factors such as
modulus, wire diameter, mean diameter, active coils, total deflection, spring
relaxation, maximum service temperature, and operating environment; results in
you having modern spring technology available for your pistol.
Because of the properties of music wire; it
cannot be heat treated, shot peened and stress relieved after the spring is
wound. Additionally, music wire lacks consistency from bulk lot to bulk lot.
This results in inconsistent performance from spring to spring. This is the same
technology that was in use 90 years ago when John Browning designed the 1911
style pistol.
We believe that springs shouldn’t be an ongoing
worry or concern for the shooter. Springs should be an annual routine
maintenance item. Change them once a year; go shoot and have fun.
Note that the stock spring weight for the
G17,20,21,22,24,31,34,35 is 17# and the stock spring weight for the G19,23,32 is
18#.
We will install any of the springs for
free! Ask to have installed in your order.
