FIELD STRIPPING YOUR GLOCK

1.  Make sure that your firearm isn't loaded.

2.  Point the pistol in a safe direction and pull the trigger.
3.  Hold the firearm as shown and hold the slide back 1/10 inch.

4.  Simultaneously, pull down the slide lock on both sides of the weapon.

5.  Push the slide forward until is is fully separated from the receiver.

6.  Push the recoil spring slightly forward and lift it away from the barrel.

7.  Remove the barrel.

8.  This is what your field stripped Glock should look like.
