SLIDE COVER PLATE REMOVAL
To remove the slide cover plate, you must use your punch. Pressure has to be remove from the firing pin assembly to allow the slide cover plate to come off the slide.
1. Place the muzzle end of the slide on a smooth flat surface and keep it in an upright position. Apply downward pressure on the spacer sleeve towards the muzzle.
2. Simultaneously, slide the cover plate down and off.
