RECEIVER DISASSEMBLY

1.  Get yourself a punch, such as the one made by Glock for this purpose.
2.  Please note that we are using a G17 for this demonstration.  Most Glock models have three pins rather than two.  The top pin (locking block pin) should be punched out first.

3.  The trigger pin may be more difficult to remove.  You should move the slide stop lever up/down/back and forth as the trigger pin is groove and often catches on the slide stop lever.

4.  Remove the slide stop lever.

5.  Remove the locking block.

PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER

The slide stop lever needs to be put back in a specific order.  The spring on the slide stop lever needs to be below the top pin in the frame.  This is accomplished by installing the top pin fist, then putting the slide stop lever in with the lower pin.  (on the Glock 17 and 34, there may only be one pin in this area.  This would not apply.)
