Compensated model looks wicked. I am a Glock lover and I believe they are one of the best and most practical guns there is, unsurpased by any other. For starters... the debate about a personal safety firearm while hunting has been around for decades. Will a 10mm be enough to stop a brown bear. Well you need at minimum, 1000 KE to penetrate through their hide, fat, muscle, and very dense large bones. They all say you want nothing less then a .44 mag to kill a brown bear ]grizzly[ in case you are ambushed.
I love my Glock 20 because it''s an extension of my hand. I carry a shoulder rig with 2 clips and 1 in my gun with a chambered round. The safety feature of a Glock is about as good as they get with no muscle memory to worry about. It''s as simple as a wheel gun. Point and shoot! I''ve heard every comparison to Glocks being as ugly of a gun as they get, but I personally like they way they look. It''s the Humvee of handguns.
I bought a case of 230 grain double tap ammo for my 10mm and the KE was just barely pushing the limit for the KE required by debates on what will kill a brown bear. I''ll say this much for my Glock 20. I would rather carry this around on a shoulder rig all day long on every hunt I go on, then a big heavy wheel gun. I can blast through 45 rounds of 10mm probably faster then my companion can go through 6 rounds on his .44 mag. With 3 15 round clips, I''m packing some serious firepower for a backup safety gun on my bow hunts. ]I carry an extra 2 clips in my pack as well for murphys law for a total of 5[
2 seasons ago I had been using 185 JHP and this past season is when I switched to 230 from double tap. The ballistics are enough for me to take down any predatory animal I may run into and need my Glock to get out of a scenario such as an ambushing bear alive. There is no other side arm I would rather have!
I''ve carried heavy wheel guns before, and they get old fast. I''m into big game hunting with my bow and also love to do rifle hunts as well from time to time. My Glock 20c is the best darned companion I''ve ever had. It''s a shame the ammunition is hard to come by. But take my word for it and check out double tap online and you will have that problem solved quick.

This review is in two parts 1st for Top Glock 2nd for the Glock 20C item 3685.
This was my first experience purchasing from Top Glock. After looking around for over a month they seemed to be the authority on Glock hand guns and the best price with the best availability out of anyone else I had found. I placed my order with the initial price of $601.45. Before my order was shipped the price was reduced to $561.99. I called them and they were quick to lower the cost since my item had not shipped yet to $561.99! :-)
Now as for The Glock 20C: TG Item Number 3685. This is an
excellent Glock 10mm! Since I live in CA I am limited to 10 rounds in the clip by law. This pistol has way less rise than the standard 10mm which makes the recovery follow up shot much easier to accomplish while keeping those groupings nice and tight! The 10mm gives the magnum sized round with the piercing power of a rifle. For your barrel heads out there the Glock 20''s can convert to the following calibers 40 S&W, 357 Sig, and the 9x25 Dillon with a simple barrel swap. By far this is one of the most versatile full sized Glock hand guns I have used. I would recommend this Glock to anyone that has hands over 8" long as it fits like a glove!

This is my first 1911. Wanted something for the woods, 1st. Personal protection 2nd. Quite impressed. Ordered a compensated model because of potential barrel flip. Beautiful. Easy recovery for second shot almost immediately. Only negative is depth of grip. Even with my XLg hand, I have to stretch to place finger on trigger.
