My reason for purchasing this SS guide rod was strickly for saftey. And the plastic guide rod just seems unsafe. The extra perks like tighter spring fit and ease of replacement of springs is a good idea. How can you go wrong....Shipping-was a discrace,(One Month to get).
I bought a ported barrel for my 10mm witch works almost as good as it looks. (Slight decrease in up-ward recoil,much better in accuracy.

This has been one of my favorite upgrades for my G20. The pistol shoots much nicer, the added weight of the rod reduces muzzle flip, and felt recoil. Also the pistol has a much more solid feel when shooting. I highly recommend this product.
