This part is a must have and should be standard on all glocks from the factory. The fact that I had to spend the extra money on this was irritating. If this part was standard on all glocks from the factory than the Springfield XD and the Smith and Wesson M&P''s wouldn''t be able to compete with the glock.

Works fine with the 8.0 lb NY-1 trigger spring for a good trigger pull

Works great, I love the trigger pull weight.
As a side note, if you have a glock with the NY trigger, you additionally need to buy a stock "trigger spring" if you truly want a trigger pull of around 3.5-4 pounds.
Otherwise you will have a NY trigger spring (weird plastic wedge with a spring), with a 3.5# connector, which results in about a 5# firm pull.

I like the reduced weight of the trigger for target practice and hunting. Would love just a little more crispness though.

The install was fairly simple, since I had the Complete Glock disasembly DVD. Made my 17 more pleasurable and accurate to shoot.
