Glock 21SF
by: Officer _________
As an officer I only trust a gun with stoping power. And the Glock 21 does just that, the only problem is I am not a man with big hands. So the Glock 21SF came to my rescue. The frame is the size of the 19 But still has the big boy bullet.

I've owned my 21SF for 2 years now. I have the one with the full picatinny rail on it. I'm a believer in the .45 caliber round. I currently own 3 Glocks the .40 caliber G23 and the .45 caliber G30. I use the 21SF for duty. The Safariland 6280 holster works but keep a couple things in mind, the leather model is extremely tight, as is with most new holsters. I used a lot of Rem-Oil on the inside of the holster to break it in. Secondly and most importantly the holster is not "CUT" to cover the ambi-mag release, so it is exposed. You just need to be aware of that. It's never caused me any problem, but it can be a safety issue for police officers.
Glocks are inherently safe even without any manual safeties. The only reason I rate it a 4 instead of a 5 is the trigger. Anyone use to a smooth single action 1911 transitioning to the Glock knows what I'm talking about. I have tricked out my G23 and use it in competition and have modified the trigger to around 3 lbs, and even with all the work I've done to it, including the trigger stop it just can't get anywhere near a 1911 trigger pull. But I do like the reliability out of the box.

Having owned a model 21 before I am again impressed w/ the new slimline version w/ the piccaneny rail on bottom. The gun store where it was purchased said w/ the rail system no holster would fit the pistol.Thats OK since its a home defense weapon. My last Glock came w/ adjustable sites & the old tupperware container. My my but how things have improved. The pistol is still great, but I really like the new sights. Now I just need to save my pennies so I can get some of the accessories to soup it up the way I like it.

When you choose Glock, you get perfection. I'm a big guy, i dont have a problem concealing this model. I love the 45 cal round and believe in "One Shot, One Kill". Perfect for home defense, and if you can handle it, you can carry it with you anywhere.Pick a holster that is full length and covers the whole barrel. That Picantinny rail will get caught up or snag when you draw.

great gun!! also, HUGE gun, have fun trying to conceal this big boy. i keep mine for home protection, pack it if i have to go through a really rough neighborhood. if you want to go concealed, buy a compact glock.

good gun. fired it alot of times, love it! 45acp is a great defensive round. don't own one yet because i recently bought the 9mm glock 19 and i'd already owned a glock 22 40 cal. since this glock will be my 3rd Glock, let's you know how much i love Glock. Having a glock has saved my life several times. just be careful and always think before you act and you'll be okay.
