Laserlyte on Glock

I mounted the laserlyte RL-1 on my Glock 26 about 6 months ago and can''t begin to tell you how satisfied I am with this product. After I completed the install ]about 10 minutes[ I ballpark sighted it in my basement and then went to the indoor range to finalize the adjustments. I fired about 9 shots, looked at the pattern on the target, did some adjusting, fired another 9 shots and again looked at the pattern on the target. Getting closer!! Did a little more adjusting, fired another 9 rounds and almost had the alignment I wanted. Did another minor tweak, fired another 9 rounds and BINGO, shot pattern you could cover with a half dollar. Carefully put the Glock into it''s case and went home. I then took some of my wife''s clear fingernail polish and put a tiny drop on each set screw so the recoil would not knock the laser out of alignment. I let the polish dry for a day and went back to the range for a couple more rounds. Let me tell you, the time and extra effort paid off. The laser had not moved a fraction. Where the red dot is is where the bullet goes without really using the old fashioned sighting with the fixed sights!! The extra effort really will prove itself in a darkened enviornment provided I have time to turn the laser on. I have fired at the range by holding the Glock away from my body and just using the red dot. Again, where the red dot is where the bullet goes. I just thought I''d pass this along since it works for me. In the 6 months I''ve been using the RL-1, the bullet pattern has NOT changed. It remains as accurate as the day I installed it.
